Cost of a Long Black

As a part of adding my favourite coffee shops to this site, I started noting how much I was paying for a long black in each location, which I've added to the coffee shop listing. Unsuprisingly there is a little difference between coffee shops so out of interest I've made the below chart so that we can compare the prices. A long black is a good benchmark as it really is just two ingredients of coffee and water which reduces the variable costs such as milk. It also happens to be the type of coffee I predominantly drink. If a coffeeshop doesn't explicitly serve a long black, I'll substitute it for an Americano.

Please don't read too much into these numbers as I know it's far from a proper survey, it's just as an item of general interest.
