Nude have become bit of an institution around the Brick Lane area, as they have a number of coffee shop locations, plus their roastery is across the road from this branch. In fact whilst I was sipping on my £3 long black, I could see the team at work.
Let's Grab a Coffee
This definitely is a busy spot and it seemed quite a number of the customers were having informal coffee meetings with colleagues or clients. I arrived at around 3pm on a Monday and there were only one or two spaces left even after the lunchtime rush.
Naturally Nude
Nude serve their own roast, which comes from the other side of the road, and it certainly is a good espresso. My long black was strong and rich in flavour and I would definitely buy their beans to brew at home.
Three Pounds
Since making a note of the price coffee shops charge for a long black coffee, I have been wondering would someone break the £3 mark; well this dubious honour goes to Nude Espresso.
