Mae + Harvey

Mae + Harvey on Roman Road in Bow, used to be called Fika, but has recently changed to the lovely, very compact but bright Mae + Harvey. There are now a good number of coffee shops springing up on Roman Road and for me, Mae + Harvey is one of the better ones. Along with being the owner, Natasha Mae Sayliss serves her own brand of juices, which are naturally available in the shop. (and has written her own book - No Ordinary Juice Book) Mae + Harvey serve coffee from Allpress which is great in my favourite Long Black. For those of you that like cold brew coffee, you will like the Sandows Cold Brew that is on sale here. If you prefer something harder, there's also local beer and wine to quench your thirst. There's also a focus on quality food here with a couple of specialist food nights each week. As of writing, Tuesday is Taco night with Thursday's being dedicated to Laksa there's also an authentic Chinese night. I personally really like the raspberry shortbread they have here, which definitely is not good for your waistline.
