About Los Amigos
Los Amigos comes from Peru and is processed using the washed method, which strips away the fruit before drying and tends to produce a cleaner, more defined cup. In the glass, expect cranberry and orange up front, with black tea and pear lending a gentle, rounded quality, and a touch of molasses adding quiet depth to the finish. As an omni roast, it performs reliably across brew methods — a V60 or Chemex will highlight the brighter fruit notes, while an espresso pull brings out the darker, more syrupy character. It works well black, though a small splash of milk softens the acidity nicely if that's your preference.
