Caravan - Exmouth Market

This branch of Caravan (there's three in total) is located in bit of a hot bed of gourmet coffee. In Exmouth Market you also have the recently opened Grind, Brill and Birko.  There's even a Cafe Nero representing the big chains.  The whole place had the feel of France brasserie on the inside, which was no bad thing. and the layout of this branch is probably more geared to the restaurant side of things, but there are some nice high chairs right opposite the bar where you can huddle around a small table.   From here I could see the staff brewing V60 pour overs and a couple of Chemex along with the usual lattes and espressos.  The table service was good and attentive which was all the better as it was starting to get busy with the lunch crowd pouring in.  There's also a good number of large benches and tables outside, which on the day I visited were basked in warm spring sunshine.  The coffee was great, having my usual long black, and Caravan use their own roasts which come from the HQ location at Granary Square in Kings Cross.
