Aftermath is an omni-roast from Catalyst, meaning it has been developed to perform well across both espresso and filter brewing methods. In the cup it delivers chocolate and hazelnut alongside a brighter edge of citrus zest, with maple syrup sweetness rounding out the finish. It works particularly well as a longer filter brew, where the gentler extraction allows the more delicate citrus and sweet notes to come through clearly. A standard V60 or Chemex at around 93°C is a straightforward starting point.
