Guerreras

Guerreras comes from Mexico and is processed using the natural method, where the coffee cherry is dried whole, allowing the fruit to impart sweetness and depth to the bean. In the cup, expect ripe stone fruit and berry notes alongside a soft, wine-like ferment and a smooth, round body. The natural processing also brings a gentle earthiness that adds complexity without sharpness. It works well as a filter brew — a V60 or Chemex will let the fruit notes come through cleanly, though it pulls a characterful espresso too.
